Rev. Marvin Abram is presently the Pastor at United Missionary Baptist Church (UMBC) in Brownsville, Brooklyn. He is a man from humble beginnings and is no stranger to the deep love of Christ and His unwavering grace and mercy! As a child, he attended the Antioch Baptist Church in Brooklyn with his family. It was there that he came to know Christ for himself.
After some personal struggles and a deep spiritual life transformation, Rev. Abram was called by the God, under the unction of the Holy Spirit, to minister the gospel of Jesus Christ. To further his Godly understanding, Rev. Abram attended the College of New Rochelle and Virginia Union Seminary. He is presently studying Sociology at Essex County College in pursuit of a Masters degree in Theology. He has worked under some great men of God including Dr. Phillip Elliot, licensed by Dr. D. Daryl Griffin, and ordained by Rev. Thomas Stokes, former Pastor of UMBC. Anyone who knows Rev. Abram knows he loves the Lord passionately and believes his sole purpose for existence is to win souls for the kingdom.
A resident of Staten Island, he is happily married to Nadine Abram, his love of eight years. He is also the proud father to Gary, a United States Air Force Police Officer, and precocious and loving 6-year-old, Madison Naomi. Rev. Abram recently took on a new role as "Grandpa" to 3-year-old, Ethan Phoenix. Rev. Abram proclaims "To God be the glory for great things He has truly done!"
